Hi, I’m Mohsen Moghaddam. I’m a painter, a storyteller through color. I was born and raised in Gorgan, a city in northern Iran where the Caspian Sea gently meets the ancient Hyrcanian forests and the Alborz Mountains. I was privileged to grow up surrounded by nature in its purest, untouched form.

Every morning, I woke to the soft embrace of the forest just beyond my parents’ house, a quiet world of mist, birdsong, and the timeless scent of earth and trees. Those early moments, wrapped in the serenity of green mountains and whispering leaves, shaped me deeply and became a part of me. The colors, the shifting light of each season still echo in my heart and continue to inspire the way I see, feel, and create.

And just as those memories stay with me, I’m sharing a little glimpse of them here, a rainy day I captured from my parents’ porch, carrying the same beauty I grew up with.

Today, I live in Sweden, where new landscapes and northern skies continue to inspire me.
